Adjusting ring is mounted on the cap.
With the adjusting ring you can attach the cap tightly to the ceiling.
Note that the screw cannot be mounted directly on a wire.
For this form of ceiling cap a rod or adjusting pipe is used.
Please note: this model is not completely coated white when the adjustment ring is attached.
So there is a very small light brown spot there.
Once mounted on the ceiling you see little of it.
But we will definitely mention it.
And that is why the price is different (i.e. lower) than the black coated model.
