Brass lamp shade holder, to hang glass lamp shades.
The idea is very simple, tighten the screws and you clamp the cap with it.
Note: do not over tighten the screws, because you have a chance of breaking the cap.
Suitable for lampshades with a shade holder up to 6.0 cm (2.4 inch) (that is the maximum outer size).
In practice, this holder is suitable for 85% of the old caps with such an upright edge.
