Complete ceiling cup, in a black colour. A short explanation of how to proceed when you want to hang a lamp neatly:
1. Place a (sturdy) hook in the ceiling.
2. Bend open the last link of the chain attached to the pendant lamp.
3. Place this link in / through the eye of the adjusting rod and bend the link closed again.
4. Put the lamp's cord through the adjusting rod until it comes out on the other side.
5. Connect the wires (turn off the power!) With a connector.
6. Hang the lamp on the hook in the ceiling.
7. Slide the ceiling cap tightly against the ceiling and tighten the screw so that the cap remains in place.

Please note: this is a very very shallow ceiling cap.
This can be visually attractive. But because the cup is not deep, it only fits tightly against your ceiling when the suspension hook can "disappear" into the ceiling by a few millimeters. Sometimes that is possible, sometimes it is not. You have to check that yourself on the spot.
