The outer size of the bracket is: 4.6 inch / 11.7 cm.
The bracket has various openings that, by using screws, offer flexible opportunities to attach the bracket to the ceiling or wall.
The two upright sides have smaller holes, so you can attach the bracket (by using a bolt) to the lamp.
The distance between the 2 outer mounting holes is 7.7 cm (= 3.03 inch)
The distance between the 2 middle mounting holes is 5.0 cm (= 1.97 inch)
Please take a good look at the dimensions, as Lamplord offers various models with different sizes. As a guideline: a bracket should not be larger than the wall plate of the lamp...
When the bracket is 0.04-0.12 inch / 1-3 millimeters smaller, this will still be ok.
If necessary use slightly longer bolts.
