Metal suspension bracket, galvanised metal. With in the middle an opening with internal thread (M10x1, or 1.0 cm / 0.39 in). You can easily attach this bracket to the ceiling.
Hanging the lamp by cord:
- Place a (sufficiently long) piece of threaded end or a short rod (approx. 4 in / 10 cm in length) in the suspension bracket.
- Take the cord from the lamp.
Loosely slide on the strain relief and possibly the adjusting ring (to clamp the ceiling cap tightly against the ceiling) and the ceiling cap. (Note the right order)
- Put the cord through the short rod / thread end.
- Attach the bracket to the ceiling, connect the cord (power off!), tighten the strain relief, and place the ceiling cap tight against the ceiling.
Tip regarding the ceiling cap: look carefully at the diameter, ideally it should be larger than the length of the bracket.
Hang lamp on rod:
- Place the rod of your lamp in the suspension bracket.
- Attach the bracket to the ceiling, connect the cord (power off!) and place the ceiling cap tightly against the ceiling.
