Handy lamp part when you want to connect 2 M13 rods (with external thread, which is threaded on the outside). So a coupling piece, or a connecting piece, (connector) just what you want to call it. Made of matt nickel.
You can use it to attach 2 (M13x1) pipes, for example. If you have a very high ceiling, this can be useful. Then you connect various pipes together in this way in order to achieve the desired height.
Another application; when M13 thread comes out of your old lamp and you would like to attach an M13 rod to it.
