These types of beads can be used with clear thread on lamp edges. You then make a beaded edge on a piece of fabric that you can attach around a glass lampshade.
You can also use it as a decorative border on crocheted curtains.
There are also vintage lamps that have elongated recesses on the side of the lamp where glass drops can be inserted. Provided they have the correct thickness, these can also be used for this.
